Rowers for the East Ferry Rowing Club at the club's annual Regatta this past Sunday, 2 July.

Five rowing clubs affiliated with the Coastal Rowing Association (CRA) Cork competed in 16 races on a sunny day at Yankee Pier in Lower Aghada, with the first race launching at 11.30am.
“Last Sunday saw East Ferry RC host another successful CRA regatta at Yankee Pier,” said Ryan Kruschel, Public Relations Officer for East Ferry Rowing Club. “The sun was shining and with it came a huge enthusiastic turnout to watch a great days rowing. Congrats to Passage RC, Rushbrooke RC, Blackrock RC for excellent competition and of course Whitegate RC on winning club of the day.
East Ferry won the U18, U12 Girls and U16 Girls categories, with Rushbrooke winning the Senior Mixed, U12 Beginners, U14 B and the U16 Boys. Whitegate Rowing Club were named Club of the Day for their four first place finishes in the U14 Girls, U14s, Pre-Vet Ladies, and the Junior Ladies (which they tied with Passage West) categories.
Whitegate Rowing Club took home the Club of the Day award for the third regatta in a row, after winning the same prize at the Whitegate Regatta on 4 June and at the Blackrock Regatta on the 21 May.
Passage West finished second overall with four first places, one second and three thirds, while hosts East Ferry were middle of the pack with three first places, four second places and four thirds. Rushbrooke were fifth with two first places, four second places and two thirds while Blackrock were fight with two first places and two third places.

Next up for the CRA clubs is the County Finals Regatta in Baltimore on Sunday, 16 July.
