Mary Black from St Aloysius’ College, Carrigtwohill, through to Junk Kouture Grand Final

One student from St Aloysius’ College, Carrigtwohill, has progressed to the final of this year’s Junk Kouture competition.
St Aloysius’ College sent four teams to the Southern Regional Final last Friday, 10 March with Mary Black’s solo design Reeling in the Years now due to feature in the Grand Final of Junk Kouture 2017 which will be held at the 3 Arena in Dublin on 29 April.
“One of our teams got through: Mary Black, who was on her own actually,” said Maria Coughlan, an art teacher at St Aloysius’ who also runs the school’s participation in this event each year. “She is through to finals on 27 April at the 3 Arena in Dublin.
