Midleton will hold its annual Mid-May Arts Festival next month across the weekend of the 12 till the 14 May.
Beginning on Friday, 12 of May the Midleton Arts Festival aims to be a celebration of arts and culture in the Midleton and wider communities and offers a weekend of music, films, animation, fine and street art, book readings, art markets, sculpture, jazz, workshops, literature, poetry, drama and more.
On Saturday, 13 May the East Cork Music Project, run by Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services will open an ambitious work to the public titled RAW (Resilience at Work). The project will be open for just one day from 10am-4pm at Midleton Lodge grounds near the gates to the Distillery. RAW is funded by Cork County Council Creative communities Scheme and its origins can be traced back to July 2016 with multiple workshops held this year contributing to the project.
