Apple Green service station Youghal held a charity bake sale for Debra Ireland last Wednesday 23 October as part of national EB awareness week.
The charity supports people suffering from the butterfly skin disease which makes the skin blister and wound at the slightest touch.
Known in the medical world as Epidermolysis Bullosa or EB for short it is a rare genetic condition that can range in severity from mild to fatal.
People with EB live with constant pain and currently there is no cure. The only treatment is constant painful bandaging of the skin.
