Ballycotton to “Rock the House” for Community Cats Network

Another highly popular event called “Rock and Roll Bingo” will be taking place in the Blackbird, Ballycotton on Friday, 22 February. This charity event, combining the fun of Bingo with a Rock n’ Roll vibe, will benefit Community Cats Network which has worked tirelessly over the years helping feral cats in the area. One of the main founders of the East Cork branch, Emilie Peneau said, “In the past year alone, our team of volunteers has come to the aid of 1,168 cats. Our policy is a Trap, Neuter and Return scheme which is working very well and gathering great support from local communities.”

The Community Cats Network will also be holding a fantastic Valentine Hamper Raffle on this Saturday, 9 February at 5pm in Midleton’s Maxi Zoo. The group will also have an Information Stand there on the day, and they will be more than happy to talk to those wishing to sign up as volunteers or who just want to find out some more about the Community Cats Network. Tickets for the raffle are available at Maxi Zoo. It’s just €2 a line or 3 for €5, and all for a very worthy cause.
