The eleventh annual Ballymacoda Hun Club charity ride took place last Sunday 6 October.
A record number of horses and riders took part this year with riders cantering across grass land and tillage farms to take in panoramic views of Ballycotton, Knockadoon and Ring strand.
Almost 250 riders registered at Finns Tavern to help raise funds for eight year old Ella Dempsey who suffers from a rare form of cancer, Ewing Sarcoma, a type of cancer that occurs in bones or in soft tissue around the bone.
The Kilcredan student is due to travel to the UK to have a tumour removed from her hip.
Earlier this year she underwent proton radiation treatment in Essen Germany to reduce the size of the growth to give doctors in Birmingham the best chance of removing it all.
