Calling All Past Pupils of Colaiste Muire Cobh

An East Cork School which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this April is trying to track down former pupils or residents with photographs to share, to help mark the milestone.

Colaiste Muire Cobh, established in 1976 will mark the special day on Saturday 1 April.

The secondary school is trying to trace past pupils, parents and staff who have memories or photos to share dating back over the school’s history.

The public including anyone with a connection with the school are invited to attend the gala celebration on Saturday 1 April.

The day promises to be one of fun for all the family and offers an opportunity to take a trip down memory lane.

Past pupils are being encouraged to submit photos of themselves in leaving cert in order to create a group collage for each year beginning with 1976-1977.

Each scrapbook will be displayed on the walls of the school. Anyone with photographs should submit them by email to

Organisers say they would also like to see past pupils celebrate the school’s annual Mass on Friday 18th November in St. Colman’s Cathedral at 11.30 am.
