The Carrigtwohill St. Patricks Day Parade Committee
will start at 1.15pm at the usual starting point at Aldi.  The Committee is delighted to announce that Mrs. Kathleen Barry will be the Grand Marshal for the 2019 event.

Kathleen was born and raised in West End, Carrigtwohill and is now currently living in Ryan & Ahern Place. Kathleen was married to the late Alan Barry (RIP), who was heavily involved in Carrigtwohill Community Council.  Kathleen herself is involved with the local Community Care, a fantastic group who cater for funerals and events in the local Community Hall.

Kathleen is a very keen supporter of all sports in the Parish, and in particular the GAA and Soccer, in which her sons are involved. Kathleen loves walking and can be seen out every day, in all weathers.  She loves meeting people and always has a kind word for everyone.  There is a rumour that Kathleen will be celebrating a big birthday soon and we wish her a fantastic day!

Kathleen is delighted to be appointed Grand Marshal for the Carrigtwohill Parade and we are honoured to have such a fantastic community spirited family involved.
