Carrigtwohill Vintage Club Social a Swinging Success!

The Carrigtwohill Vintage Club Annual Social was another sell out success this year. Last Saturday, 26 January, revellers were lined up at the Midleton Park Hotel for a night of dancing and fun and, with Crystal Swing rocking the stage, they certainly were not disappointed. Speaking with The East Cork Journal, Chairman of the club Johnny Buckley said, “We were absolutely blown away with the attendance. Crystal Swing were on top form and it was great to get so much positive feedback on the night. While our club is all about fun, most importantly of all we are about giving back to those in need in our local community. We’d like to thank all those who helped us achieve that throughout the year.” Proceeds raised from The Carrigtwohill Vintage Club events throughout the past year were donated on the night to the following local charities: CASA Carrigtwohill, Greenville House Carrigtwohill (Cork Autism Association) and Meals on Wheels.

A new top table of Committee members was also recently formed, as follows:

Carrigtwohill Vintage Club will be holding their next meeting in Carrigtwohill Community Hall on Wednesday, 6 February at 8pm. They are always delighted to welcome new members, young and old.
