Cloyne to Light Up For Christmas

Cloyne will be lighting up their Christmas tree on Sunday, 9 December at 5.30pm at Cloyne Cross. The Cloyne Gospel Choir will be there to get the Christmas atmosphere glowing with festive songs and carols. Also making a special appearance, ensuring little believers are happy, will be the big man himself, Santa Claus. Speaking with The East Cork Journal, Siobhán Nally (Secretary of Cloyne Community Council) said, “The switching on of the Christmas lights is a really lovely way of bringing the community together at this time of year. It will be wonderful to see the reaction of the children to Santa Claus in the village.”

Kick off your family Christmas festivities in the community by coming along to the Christmas Tree Light-Up, and please don’t forget to shop local this Christmas.
