Cork ARC Cancer Support House are delighted to announce the appointment of Clare O’Neill as Cancer Support Co-ordinator for East Cork West, Waterford Services, which will open at Cuan House in Youghal from May 2017.
Clare brings three decades of Clinical Oncology nursing, and has experience in being the lead co-ordinator of clinical research trials. She has a BSc in Breast Cancer Nursing and an MBA in Health Executive Management. This, coupled with Clare's qualifications and experience as a complementary therapist, will bring a wealth of knowledge and support to the Community of East Cork and West Waterford.
Clare has been a valued member of the Cork ARC Cancer Support Team at O'Donovan Rossa Road for the last eight years. Her experience of meeting and supporting patients and families will be of huge benefit for the development of the Services at Cuan House.
Being a volunteer herself in many projects over the years, Clare values the importance of volunteers and the enormous benefits they bring to communities
