East Cork Joins Hope For Ava’s Campaign

The issue of medicinal cannabis is back in the spotlight and the question of whether we should or should not have access to it.
From Sydney to Perth, from Rylan to Drispey and from Ballyhooly to Midleton communities gathered in solidarity on Saturday 4 February, to stand behind Vera Twomey in her fight to legalise Cannabis for medicinal use.
In Ballyhooly Lucinda McDonald was joined by large numbers pressing Minister Simon Harris to follow the lead of many western European countries and a number of US states in allowing doctors prescribe cannabis based medication.
