East Cork Cycle enthusiasts are being encouraged to saddle up and raise funds for the Mercy Hospital this April.
This year the Fort 2 Fort Charity Cycle will take place on Sunday 15 April.
New routes and times will be announced in the coming weeks as organisers promise “this year’s Fort 2 Fort cycle is an event not to be missed.”
This is the seventh year of the event taking cyclists through some of the most spectacular scenery around Cork Harbour,
Participants will be able to choose from 60Km, 85Km and 120Km routes.
Registration will open later this week.
For anyone interested in taking part in Fort 2 Fort 2018, an early bird registration fee of €39 is available until the 1 March. After that, registration is €45 for those who sign up before the 13 April, and for those who want to register on the day, it’s €50.

The Fort2Fort 2017 cycle raised €22,575. To date, over 3,000 cyclists have participated in Fort 2 Fort, and €124,000 has been raised for local beneficiaries.
All monies raised on the day will go directly to Mercy University Hospital Cancer Care Centre, four Cork City and County Lions Clubs and Camden Fort Magher Restoration Fund.
