
Fr. O' Neill's Camogie Club hosted the Home coming for the All-Ireland winning Cork Intermediate Camogie team at Aghavine on Tuesday night last. Sarah Harrington captain, and Keelagh Cullinane panellist and their team mates were accorded a massive welcome when they paraded three cups, the All-Ireland Cup, the Munster Cup and the National League Cup to the Sports field led by a piper.
Ann Marie Griffin Chairperson Fr. O' Neill's Camogie welcomed Sarah, Keelagh and the Cork team along with Mary McSweeney Chairperson Cork Camogie Board, Sheila Golden Vice-Chairperson and Marion McCarthy Treasurer to the Homecoming. Also present were Bridie Finn and Joan O Driscoll Honorary Presidents Fr. O' Neill's Camogie Club, Margaret Hyde President Fr. O' Neill's Camogie Club, Michael Hegarty Chairman Fr. O' Neill's GAA Club and Aidan Healy Chairman Ballymacoda/Ladysbridge Community Council.
Presentations were made to Sarah and Keelagh by former club and county players, Fiona O Driscoll and Mags Finn.
