John Cunningham, Lesley Cullinane and Bree Browne, Youghal Community Bus, receive cheque from the staff of Clockgate Pharmacy

Following the recent very successful fundraising Garden Party which was hosted by the staff of Clockgate Pharmacy for Youghal Community Bus, the organisers were delighted with the fantastic amount of €1,500 which was raised on the day.

On Friday last, voluntary members of Youghal Community Bus were presented with the cheque and, on behalf of the group, Leslie Cullinane Godfrey thanked sincerely the staff for their support and help for the local Bus. Leslie said "The Community Bus is run by local volunteers, and its continuation is very dependent on the support of the people, who are always so generous".

Anne-Marie, on behalf of the staff of Clockgate Pharmacy said they are always delighted to support local charities. "The Community Bus", she told The East Cork Journal, "is a fantastic service for the elderly and disabled in the town, and I would like to thank the staff for their help. I would especially like to thank all those who came along on the day for their generosity and support for the great works done on a daily basis by members of Youghal Community Bus".
