Hive of activity at SECAD Partnership Employment Fair

The SECAD Partnership Employment Fair took place last Thursday 20 September in the Midleton Park hotel.  It was a bustling event with a total of 155 job hunters meeting with over 20 companies spanning a wide range of sectors including IT, IT asset disposal/data destruction, construction, healthcare, precision manufacturing, food, retail, hospitality and tourism.  The event provided an excellent opportunity for job hunters and employers to meet under the one roof to discuss vacancies and skills sets.

SECAD staff were on standby to support job hunters on the day offering last minute job seeking tips and general guidance on the range of roles available at the event

The sheer number of sectors covered at the employment fair highlights the diversity of positions available in the region presenting real opportunities for people currently seeking new employment or interested in transitioning their career.

Overall feedback from participating organisations and job hunters were very positive indeed.

SECAD was delighted to have been in a position to organise and facilitate the employment fair. A special word of thanks to the organisations and job hunters that attended as well as to the Midleton Park Hotel who kindly sponsored the Jameson conference suite for the event.
