Inch Rovers Juveniles Celebrate in Youghal

By Denise Fitzgerald

A packed attendance at the celebratory Inch Rovers Juvenile Social hosted on Friday night last, 28th February, included supporters from as young as 10 months right up to proud Grans and Grandads, all of whom were there to honour the very successful year in the Club.

Guests on the exciting and enjoyable evening included three Intermediate players – Captain Aoife Higgins, Ciara Barry and Emma Cosgrove - and excitement was high as the ladies made presentations to the different age groups, many of whom were in awe as they accepted the medals from their heroes.

High praise and sincere thanks were given to the trojan work and commitment of the Managers and Coaches, with huge appreciation extended to the Committee and everyone who helped in any way over the year.

Sheila Dennehy hosted the evening’s presentations with impeccable style, energy, and great expertise.

Ann O’Neill presented a spectacular, professional slide screen featuring many scenes from the different exciting events, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Following the presentations a superb meal was served, thanks to the Walter Raleigh Hotel, following on from which DJ Con had everyone out on the floor dancing and singing along to his music.

Well done to the successful players of 2019, and to all who helped and encouraged them along the way.
Roll on 2020!!
