All roads lead to Garryvoe Hotel for Killeagh Choir and Guests Gala Evening next Sunday 13 May.
Excerpts from The Desert Song, Les Mis, and the best of Strauss led by Mezzo Soprano Teresa O’Sullivan as well popular solos and instrumental items will feature in this glittering programme in the lush surroundings of the Garryvoe Hotel.
Waterford based soloists Sarah O’Mahony and Frank Ryan will enthral the audience with classic duets while Midleton’s Mary Montgomery’s rendition of Hahn’s Si Mes vers avaient des ailes will display vocal agility and sensitivity in this very demanding solo. Eileen Quirke, Orla Irwin, Tracey Downes, and Shereen Dent will be joined by the choir in their favourite songs. Mick Greany with new comedy repertoire will have you laughing in the aisles.
Killeagh’s very popular soprano Geraldine Landers will join Ballycotton’s Tom O’Sullivan and the soothing tones of this duo will certainly entertain. A rousing Irish Selection will be performed by The East Cork Tenors and the Magnificent Seven will surprise and delight when lead by Midleton Tenor Charlie McAlister. Also featuring in this star line up will be Andy Jackson who will be appearing in Cork City Hall on May 20th .
Violinists Flo Fitzgerald, Afric Prendergast and Jenneffer O’Keeffe will join pianist Susan Mannion O’Brien in this exciting and varied programme.
