Killeagh Foot Bridge Endorsed But No Funding to Construct It

Busy N25 to the east of killeagh Village where plans to put a footbridge is awaiting funding.

Plans for the construction of a pedestrian bridge close to the N25 in Killeagh, costing an estimate €100,000 has been given the green light for approval of planning by the East Cork Municipality.
The construction of the pedestrian walk way would link residents to the east of Killeagh with the village.
Currently they have to cross to the opposite side of the road and again the Mount Uniacke road before entering the village.
