Midleton’s Educate Together School are hosting a competition event entitled “Bench for Bláthu” with the Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Association (IDFPA) on Saturday, 31 March.
Ahead of World Autism Day this event’s proceeds will go directly to the school to aid furnish their autism unit with a much needed sensory room and equipment for their occupational therapy space. Sensory rooms provide a calming yet stimulating environment to help develop and address the children’s sensory needs.
The competition is open to any lifter who is not a member of a non-drug tested federation, so lifters do not need to have IDFPA membership to enter. There will also be an amazing raffle which will be of huge interest to the keep-fit participates which includes 3 personal training sessions in Cork Strength and Performance centre as well as many more prizes.
