Our Friends from Mignaloux –Beauvoir departed our shores on Sunday morning last, having spent a very enjoyable week with Host Families in East Cork, having travelled each day in glorious weather starting with the Copper Coast , Waterford, and an overnight trip on the Ring of Kerry.

On Thursday we had the Tree planting ceremony on the grounds of Midleton Hospital which was an historic event, as they had a tree planted in Mignaloux –Beauvoir by the Mayor 21 years previous, and another in Midleton 21 years ago also.

The Concert held in John the Baptist Church which was a magical night, was organised by Betty Maloney.

We also enjoyed a trip to Doneraile Estate and the donkey sanctuary.

On Saturday we had a Family day, followed by an evening meal in the Bayview Hotel Ballycotton to bid a fond farewell to our friends.

The Meal in the Bayview was top class, and Chief guest Josselin La Gall was also present for what was a very enjoyable evening
