If there is one defining moment of the modern age it was the creation of the internet, for many this technological wonder is the realm of the young.
For those who feel like me, stuck on the technological freeway trying desperately to hitch a ride, there is help.
Due to unprecedented demand Midleton library are set to run a second free class the technologically challenged.
Last Saturday 24 March the Library were on hand to help a generation to bridge the technological divide and return to the superhighway with their IPads, IPods, smart Phones and computers.
Library staff who have never known life before computers shared their tech knowhow.
The one hour lessons on a one to one basis took place between 10:00am and 3:30pm.
Now staff plan to run a second event on a date yet to be decided.
The aim of the course is to help bridge what is perceived to be an intergenerational divide.
The advantages are well worth the learning curve is the message.
