It’s been a lifetime in the making and last Saturday 5 October Dennis O’Sullivan put his extensive archive of GAA memorabilia on display.

The Ballynoe man brought his unique show to My Place community centre from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

The collection dates back to 1887, the first staging of the All Ireland Hurling Championship and includes some rare pieces of GAA history.

Highlights of the collection include Cork’s double in 1990 and examines Christy Ring as a sporting great, and his lesser known period playing football for Tipperary.
