Public consultation has started on the €20million flood relief scheme for Midleton.
The first round of public discussions on the Midleton Flood Relief Scheme takes place today Thursday 23 March between 3:00pm and 7:00pm in the Midleton Park Hotel.
Representatives from Cork County Council operating on behalf of the Office of Public Works (OPW) and project consultants Ove Arup will be present to answer questions.
Ken Leahy Project Co-Ordinator for Arup Engineering said their study intends on combining a number of measures to prevent flooding in Midleton, Ballinacurra and Waterrock.
