Ms Joan Hayes, Chairperson of the Scartleigh Board of Management, and Principal Denise O'Donovan accept a cheque for €900 towards 'An Cuan' from members of the 'All in an April evening' concert committee.

Saleen & District Residents’ Association wishes to sincerely thank everyone who helped in any way with the ‘All in an April evening’ concert on Sunday 8 April. Thank you to all who supported this most enjoyable evening.
The concert raised €1,800. Presentations were made to the purpose-built units for children with autism, ‘An Cuan’ (Scartleigh National School, Saleen) and ‘Bláth na hÓige’ (Scoil Íosagáin, Aghada). The presentations were made during ‘Autism Awareness Week’. Committee members heard first-hand experiences from parents of the positive impact these school units have made in the lives of their children with autism.
‘Spring Clean’
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the ‘Spring Clean’ on Saturday April 14th. The grass verges in the area are looking much cleaner. We hope people will respect the great work done and dispose of their litter responsibly.
Saleen & District Residents’ Association - AGM - Wednesday 30 May
The AGM of Saleen & District Residents’ Association will be held on Wednesday 30 May at 8pm in Saleen School.
It has been another busy year since the 2017 AGM. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way through the year. We also appreciate the support and cooperation of Saleen School and Scartleigh Parents Association.
It would be wonderful if we could continue the progress which has been made over the past few years. We would encourage everyone to help - even in small ways such as keeping the area outside/adjacent to your house tidy, litter and weed free.
Please come along to the AGM on Wednesday 30 May at 8pm in Saleen School (New Hall). It's your area! Get involved! Share your ideas! Meet your neighbours!
