The Knockadoon Enhancement Project held a very successful table quiz fundraiser last Friday, 7 April.
The table quiz was held at Finn’s Tavern in Ballymacoda and saw 80 people take part, with the winning team taking home a cash prize and with other lucky individuals taking home prizes from the raffle.
“It was a great success,” said Eric O’Driscoll of the Knockadoon Enhancement Project. “We had 20 tables so there was 80 people there. We had music afterwards. Terry Sloane was the emcee and he was great fun, cracking jokes throughout. He was the DJ afterwards too and he was great fun again playing the music. Everybody enjoyed it. People were talking afterwards about how hopefully we will do it again soon.”
The Knockadoon Enhancement Project [KEP] is a subcommittee of the Ballymacoda/Ladysbridge Community Council whose members are drawn and elected from the local community. The voluntary group aims to develop and enhance the local area and environment for the enjoyment and pleasure of locals and visitors alike.
