The Coffee Morning in Midleton for Time for Tilara was very well supported last Friday, 21 April.
Held at My Place, Midleton the Coffee Morning, which was organised by Ina Holmes, grandmother of Midleton’s Tilara Costa-Holmes, raised over €2,000 for her six-year-old granddaughter’s trust which will be used to fund a serious spinal surgery for Tilara to improve her quality of life.
“The day went excellently,” said Noel McDonagh, a member of the Time for Tilara fundraising committee. “It was organised by Ina, Tilara’s grandmother and it made €2,300 for Tilara which was exceptional. We would like to say thank you to My Place in particular for hosting the event. They were great help on the day. We would like to thank the people who sponsored prizes and who donated cakes and coffee for the morning. And we also wish to thank the people who couldn’t make it but made donations anyway and a big thank you to Ina Holmes’ neighbours and friends who came along and supported it.”
