Cork ARC Cancer Support House is opening its support services at it’s location 29 Friar Street, Youghal in May of this year. Currently there are some minor refurbishment works that need to be carried out to the house before it opens its doors to the public. Speaking to the Committee of ARC Cancer Support House, they informed the East Cork Journal, that they are seeking assistances from the public to volunteer their time to help with minor refurbishment works.
“We are aiming to have the doors open in May, however to meet this commencement date, we need the help of the public. We are looking for, trades people, such as electricians, painters, plumbers, landscapers, carpenters, cleaners, plasterers and general operators.
