Youghal RNLI Seek Volunteers

RNLI Lifeboat station Youghal

Residents in East Cork are being encouraged to join the Youghal RNLI inshore service.
Men and women aged 17 who live or work in the surrounding area of Youghal are urgently needed to help boost the search and rescue numbers at the lifeboat station.
RNLI Lifeboat members work to prevent the loss of life on the coast and at sea and provide a 24 hour maritime search and rescue service around the Irish Coast.
Crew respond to emergencies at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year.
Incidents can include searching for missing persons, carrying out water rescues and responding to small craft in distress.
Crew member need to have a reasonable level of fitness, have good eyesight and not be colour blind.
