Bunscoil students from Youghal sing to raise funds for the homeless.

It was a bitterly cold day in Youghal as the young primary students of Bunscoil Mhuire gave two wonderful outdoor performances of Christmas Cheer at Youghal Post Office and Tesco, to help raise funds for the Simon Community.
Accompanied by teachers and under the baton of Geraldine Mulcahy the young students sang their hearts out for the very worthy cause. Their enthusiastic and exuberant singing drew shoppers from supermarkets, and people from cars, to listen to their young voices raised in song to celebrate Christmas, as they sang to raise funds for those in dire need at this special time. Locals and visitors once more responded to the very good cause with generous donations.
Well done to Geraldine, musicians Treasa Edmonds, Claire Hannon, Alan White and especially to the young singers who stood in the cold in Youghal and sang for Simon.
