The Foundation began in 2006 following the tragic death of Youghal native the beautiful, bubbly Emer Casey at just 28 years old from ovarian cancer. Since then, the foundation has held her memory on a dignified pedestal of hope raised high for others to see. Through its irrepressible efforts, the foundation has raised over €900,000 to date, all of which has been funnelled into supporting research, improving patient care and the detection and awareness of ovarian cancer.
